The Trust Leadership School Program is an intensified program designed especially for empowering the Turkish diaspora youth. It is a distinguished 3-stage training program based on the active participation of young adults and their highest level of benefit.
The Trust Leadership School Program was created to ensure that social life challenges and social problems can be overcome with solutions that require leadership skills. The program is carried out for young leaders in the Turkish diaspora who have the potential to create more social impact than they do.
The vision of the Trust Leadership School Program is to ensure that program participants adopt universal values such as human rights, respect for human dignity, equality and justice. At the same time, participants are expected to mediate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and uncover the potential capacities of the less developed countries and the Turkish diaspora. The program also aims to make a strong contribution to the positive depiction of the Turkish diaspora.
Program Participation Fee
Program participation fee is 4000 Euros. This fee covers face-to-face training, full use of the E-Learning platform for once and support service during mentorship.
During the face-to-face training program, hotel accommodation, meals, field visits and other related expenses are included in this fee.
The fee does not include transportation and all participants are expected to purchase their flight and train tickets.
Scholarship Application
In the Trust Leadership School Program, a certain number of participants are provided with a scholarship each semester. This scholarship is provided to the participants who stand out with their leadership abilities and who have the ability to lead their society in the future and today. The accommodation, transportation, food and education fees of the participants who receive the scholarship are covered by the organizers and no participation fee is requested from them.
Participants who want to apply for scholarship must state this in the application form.
What We Do ?
Trust Leadership School Program aims to help its participants to develop their skills mentorship, leadership and advocacy. All trainings carried out within this program are aimed at sustaining these three achievements.
Mentorship: The Trust Leadership School Program does not only mentors its participants to accelerate their personal growth development and to become international actors and activists, but it also helps their participants for them to understand how they can mentor their own communities, non-governmental organizations and peers.
Leadership: It is the basis of all our work. The Trust Leadership School Program supports the development of individuals within the Turkish diaspora that have the potential to create more social impact than they do. The work carried out by the Trust Leadership School Program enables people to develop their leadership skills with an innovative perspective.
Advocacy: The Trust Leadership School Program teaches strategic use of information to the participants in order to change the laws or policies in favor of those who are excluded from the society by influencing decision-makers. In addition, essential elements of advocacy such as media and communication management and international organizations are also offered to the participants in this program topics such as argumentation

Who Can Join ?
Turkish youth living in European countries can apply for this program. There are sections in the program that will be carried out in English, and therefore participants are expected to have sufficient level of English to follow the program. Although there is no other restriction for the application, many features such as age, academic career, social entrepreneurship skills and communication skills will be taken into consideration in the selection of participants.
The Trust Leadership School Program is implemented to support young adults to be qualified and experienced individuals with strong social identities in their regions. Throughout the 3-stage program, participants can contribute to their individual talents with the early stage Training. By completing the E-Learning Platform and Mentorship Program stages, they can also contribute to the institutionalization process of organizations.
Learning and experiencing leadership characteristics in the early stage training aims to support the individual competencies of the participant youth. With the E-Learning Platform, current information is renewed and specific formations in which young people can demonstrate their leadership skills are introduced. Young people who gain skills both academically and organizationally are supported according to their personal orientation within the Mentorship Program. Young-adults are planned to become leaders who can actively advocate in their regions at the end of the program.
In terms of the efficiency of the program, it is paid strict attention to select the program participants among those who want to develop their leadership skills, can take responsibility and meet on the common ground.
